Innovation Leads the World

“Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower.”- Steve Jobs

As a designer, I love creating things to make people a better life. I also enjoy collecting awesome designs as my “side job”. During the years, I’ve been seeing many great designs – from a lovely wedding invitation to a grand architecture – they are just innovative + brilliant!

Here are some of my favorites, ready for WOWs?

What Da Tree Toster | Designed by: Xu YanXiang (China)

Fancy transparent leaves hold your bread, till they are done.  Hint: It’s not a TREE, don’t touch it or you will get burned.

Hand Guard | Designed by: Moon Sheen Hyeon (Korea)

The Hand Guard is a protective silicon cover for your hands when you’re cooking, especially for French fries.

Cutting Scale | Designers: Jess Giffin + Jim TerMeer

A cutting board has an integrated scale within a defined area on its surface.

Rockid | Designed by: Ontwerpstudio (Holland)

A rocking chair + cradle in one – rock yourself and your baby.

DustPan + Bin | Designed by Lufdesign

Turn a dust pan around when it not in use, it will become your trash bin.

Clouds Floating in the Air Light | Designed by: Zhao Li Ping

Too bad this tree toaster probably wouldn’t pass safety regulations here… too cute. And the mugs are just swanky!
